A motor neuron disease (MND) is any of several neurological disorders that selectively affect motor neurons, the cells that control voluntary muscles of the body. They include amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP), primary lateral sclerosis (PLS), progressive muscular atrophy (PMA), progressive bulbar palsy (PBP) and pseudobulbar palsy.  MinodoleTM will help slow down not only the cognitive decline but will also help manage several nerves system related discomforts.

They are neurodegenerative in nature and cause increasing disability.   Neurological disorders are diseases of the brain, spine and the nerves that connect them. There are more than 600 diseases of the nervous system, such as brain tumors, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease and stroke as well as less familiar ones such as  frontotemporal dementia 

 

Initial symptoms:  The initial symptoms of motor neuron disease usually develop slowly and subtly over time. It can be easy to mistake early symptoms for those of several unrelated conditions that affect the nervous system. In about two-thirds of people with motor neuron disease, the first symptoms occur in the arm or leg. This is sometimes called limb-onset disease. These symptoms may include: 

• A weakened grip, which can cause difficulties picking up or holding objects  

• Nervousness

• Weakness in the shoulder, making lifting the arm above the head difficult  
•  Tripping up over a foot because of weakness at the ankle or hip
